Jash, from his early days believed that every individual to his best of capacities should give back to the society. On joining Med school in Seth G.S.Medical College and K.E.M.Hospital, he was overwhelmed by the suffering around, and at the same time, inspired by the plethora of possibilities that a man has, to serve, in the ocean of medicine.

Neurosurgery with it’s still uncharted territories, it’s uncertainties, it’s demanding nature not just from the body and mind but soul itself, drew him and became the field he wanted to excel in.

After doing M.S. General Surgery from Nair Hospital he completed his M.Ch Neurosurgery from K.E.M.Hospital where he learnt and mastered the art and science of this field under the stalwarts.

Dr.Jash Doshi has an interest, training and expertise in Neurooncology, Skull base surgery, Endovascular and open Neurovascular Surgery, Spine Surgery, Paediatric Neurosurgery, Traumatic Brain injuries, Epilepsy Surgeries, Management of Stroke and other Cerebrovascular accidents.

 

He manages all forms of degenerative spinal disorders including lumbar disc, lumbar canal stenosis, cervical myelopathy due to disc or osteophytes or ossified posterior longitudinal ligament. He also operates on all forms of spinal tumors. Any patient with paraplegia, stiffness, quadriplegia, tingling in limbs, backache, neck pain, imbalance, vertigo can be seen, assessed and if necessary operated by him.

He also does elective and emergency brain surgeries in patients with head injury, stroke, brain tumours or bleeding inside the brain, vascular malformations or aneurysms, hydrocephalus, children with spinal dysraphisms, Arnold Chiari Malformations, pituitary tumors, brain metastasis, patients with seizures (epilepsy) and so on. In addition to all this he also does Cerebral Angiography and is trained in endovascular interventions for prevention and treatment of stroke, carotid stenting, aneurysmal coiling and other such intervention.
